Aión Dúo

Aión Dúo began its journey in the spring of 2017 with the help of two young performers at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki. Since then, their interest in chamber music has led them to work and search the written repertoire for clarinet and piano, undertaking the commitment to contribute new visions to the classical repertoire of said formation, as well as showing interest in the most current repertoire of our days.

Since its birth, the duo has received advice from professors such as José Luis Estellés, Harri Mäki, Claudio Martínez Mehner, Jacques Zoon, Kiril Kozlovsky, Irina Zahharenkova, Martti Rautio, Hui-Ying Liu-Tawaststjerna, Naoko Ichihasi, among others.

Despite their short history as a stable group, they have made different concert tours throughout the Spanish and Finnish territory, in venues such as the Chamber Hall of the Manuel de Falla Auditorium (Granada), Teatre Martín y Soler of the Palau de les Arts “Reina Sofía” (Valencia) within the Ensems Festival, Clemente Hall (Valencia), Valencia Professional Conservatory, “Ángel Barrios” Conservatory (Granada), Musiikkitalo Chamber Hall (Helsinki), Villadecans Atrium Theater, Eutherpe Foundation, among many others .

Currently, the members of Aión Dúo continue to deepen their knowledge of their repertoire and broaden their interest in disseminating it. The work of newly created repertoires has led them to work, premiere and commission works by composers such as Eduardo Soutullo, Voro García, Claudia Cañamero or José Manuel López López.
